Note:

Do not sharpen pastel and charcoal pencils with a regular sharpener because this can cause breakage. We??d recommend using a sharp hobby knife (under adult supervision). Sharpen away from yourself slowly and at a slight angle for best results. For a finer point try using a sandpaper block or fine grade sandpaper. Apply gentle pressure and move it backwards and forwards on the point while rotating the pencil to evenly sharpen each side.
