Frequently Asked Questions

How does the retractable mechanism keep the nib from drying out?

An internal spring-loaded seal hatch closes immediately when the nib retracts, maintaining an airtight chamber that prevents ink evaporation.

What does "pencil-like feedback" feel like?

Rather than feeling excessively slick or glassy, the nib is tuned to offer pleasant, subtle micro-friction against the paper, providing precision and tactile control similar to a freshly sharpened wooden pencil.

Can I use shimmering or pigmented inks in this pen?

Yes. The transparent demonstrator barrel highlights shimmer particles beautifully. We recommend periodic flushing when switching between saturated or shimmering inks.
