Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill the TWSBI ECO fountain pen with ink?

Submerge the nib and feed fully into your chosen bottled ink, then twist the piston turning knob at the back end counter-clockwise and back clockwise to draw ink smoothly into the internal reservoir. Wipe excess ink from the section and nib with a clean cloth.

Does this pen require disposable ink cartridges or a separate converter?

No. The TWSBI ECO features a fully integrated piston filling mechanism, eliminating the need for single-use plastic cartridges or small converters and maximising ink capacity.

How should I maintain and clean the pen when changing ink colours?

Flush the reservoir with clean lukewarm water by cycling the piston back and forth until the water runs clear. For thorough servicing, use the included wrench to service the piston mechanism and reapply silicone grease as needed.
